How to Fix Awkward Sentences
Fix awkward sentences by clarifying the subject, cutting filler, improving rhythm, and preserving the intended meaning. With editing examples.
Find the sentence core
Awkward sentences often hide the subject and verb. Ask: who is doing what? Once the core is clear, move it earlier and rebuild the sentence around it.
The Grammar Fixer can catch punctuation and sentence structure issues, but a deeper awkwardness problem may need the Paragraph Rewriter.
